2023 Ford Edge

The 2023 Ford Edge is available in five trims: SE, SEL, ST-Line, Titanium, and ST. It comes standard with 18-inch wheels and LED headlights, but other trims offer 19- or 20-inch wheels, black exterior trim, and a hands-free liftgate. The SUV has several optional packages, one of which includes the Titanium Elite Package. Adding this package gives the SUV a more luxurious appearance, with 20-inch wheels and chrome exterior touches as well as some interior upgrades.

Most 2023 Ford Edge models have the base engine under the hood, but the top-trim ST model has its own. The base turbo-four engine produces 250 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque. The available twin-turbo V-6 engine cranks out 335 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque. The base engine uses an eight-speed automatic transmission, while the other engine uses a seven-speed automatic one. Regardless of the transmission, both shift smoothly. With the base engine, expect to get an EPA-estimated 21 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway, while those with the V-6 engine get 19 mpg in the city and 25 mpg on the highway. Also, when properly equipped, the SUV has a maximum towing capacity of 3,500 pounds.

Seating five people comfortably, the 2023 Ford Edge has plenty of room for all travelers, even those in the rear seats. One of the most noteworthy updates is the addition of the ST Interior Appearance Package, which includes leather-trimmed seats as well as red-and-blue accent stitching. The SUV has one of the largest infotainment screens in its class at 12 inches. This tablet-style display utilizes Ford's SYNC 4A software, which has crisp graphics and a quick response time. Thanks in part to these impressive safety features, the 2023 Edge earned a perfect overall safety rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
