Ford equips the Bronco Sport with unique all-wheel-drive systems, depending on the engine configuration. Versions of the Bronco Sport that utilize the turbo three-cylinder engine receive a front-rear power split system and five drive modes: Eco, Normal, Sport, Slippery, and Sand.
Models in the turbo-4 configuration get an all-wheel-drive system with a twin-clutch rear differential. These turbo four-cylinder models also offer the above driving modes and two additional drive modes: Rock Crawl and Mud/Ruts.
The base Bronco Sport can tow up to 2,000 pounds, while turbo four-cylinder versions have a tow rating of 2,200 pounds.
Fuel efficiency ratings for the Bronco Sport are 25 mpg in the city, 28 mpg on the highway, and 26 mpg combined for the turbo three-cylinder engine. Bronco Sports with the turbo four-cylinder engine get 21 mpg in the city, 26 mpg on the highway, and 23 mpg combined.
